Verizon’s HTC One Max is now available for $299.99 with a new two-year contract, right on a par with the leaked pricing that was revealed yesterday. The phone, which was announced in October, is HTC’s larger version of the HTC One, though it’s not necessarily more powerful.

As you’re likely already aware, the One Max runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box in addition to HTC’s wonderful Sense 5.5 user interface. It also features a 5.9-inch 1080p display, a 4-Ultrapixel camera (though without optical image stabilization), 2GB of RAM and a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor. In general, the Galaxy Note 3, which is also $299.99 with a new two-year contract, is a more powerful phone with 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 800 processor, though you’ll miss out on the BoomSound speakers, fingerprint reader and the aluminum design found on the HTC One Max.

Sprint is also selling the HTC One Max, where it landed last week for $249.99 with a new two-year contract. For more information about what you can expect, be sure to read our One Max review.
