Motorola just announced its budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G, which will launch with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. It sounds like an amazing deal for its price: you’ll get a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage for just $179 unlocked and direct from Motoroala’s site.
Though, software updates are always a concern. Motorola addressed that during its Moto G press conference on Wednesday, when it promised that the brand new Moto G will receive Android 4.4 KitKat by January 2014. The company also confirmed that the Moto X will receive KitKat in a “matter of weeks.”
We can’t wait to check out the Moto G, it sounds like a super compelling device at its price point.
