Apple has reportedly halted its iTV initiatives in an effort to get its smartwatch out the door. Though, apparently Apple has more than just one watch on its way tot he market.

According to research from DisplaySearch, which isn’t always accurate mind you, Apple will launch two models that accommodate different sized wrists: one with a 1.7-inch display and one with a 1.3-inch display. By comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy Gear has a 1.63-inch screen, while the Pebble smartwatch has a 1.26-inch screen. The differences in sizes are supposed to appeal to both women and men, the idea being that women typically have smaller wrists than men.

We’re still marking this as speculation until we hear more concrete information, but Apple did suggest that it’s going to enter new product arenas in 2014, and wearable technology is certainly going to become a hot market. Hopefully Apple’s iWatch is the real deal.
