Xbox One’s Snap Feature Shown Off by Microsoft

What started as a joke about gaming with ADD has turned into a nifty little prospective feature for the Xbox One. Of course, I’m talking about Snap, the ability to link to applications together on Microsoft’s upcoming console.

Today, Microsoft dropped a video demonstration of the feature in motion. Xbox’s Yusuf Mehdi is the one leading the demo in the clip at the head of this post.

While multitasking like this might not be instantly appealing, the idea of having a hockey game snapped to the right side of an online shooter for a night of sniping and sports actually sounds pretty sweet. How that translates to the stability and enjoyability of both experiences, of course, remains to be seen.

What do you think of the Xbox One’s Snap feature? Is it one you’ll likely use?
