Motorola Offering 10 Percent Discount on All Moto Maker Purchases

by Jacob Kleinman | November 12, 2013November 12, 2013 6:15 pm PDT

Just a day after Motorola opened up the Moto Maker to Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, the smartphone-maker announced a 10 percent discount across all carriers when you order your customized Moto X online using the coupon code “THANKYOU10.”

The discount covers your entire purchase, even if you opt to pay for the entire device upfront. The option to enter the promo code won’t present itself until the very last page just before you finalize your purchase, so don’t worry when Motorola asks for your credit card number, your chance to save 10 percent is still coming.

It would have been nice if Motorola had publicly offered this discount yesterday when it first opened up the Moto Maker. We have a feeling the company probably saw a jump in sales as Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint subscribers who had waited for months moved quickly to order their personalized smartphones. Still, it’s a nice gesture that will likely encourage even more consumers to give the Moto X a try.
