The Nexus 5 is already available through the Google Play Store, but if you’re looking to pick up Google’s new smartphone from T-Mobile you’ll still have to wait a little longer. A leaked retail planning guide obtained by TmoNews reveals that the 5-inch handset will hit T-Mobile stores starting on Nov. 20.
The leaked internal document also reiterates that the Nexus 7 will launch on T-Mobile at the same time as part of the carrier’s new tablet program. We already knew that, though we still don’t have a firm launch date. The company will apparently begin offering LG and Sony handsets for $0 down—though it’s unclear which devices this refers to—and plans to kick off its holiday sales for Sony and Samsung products on Nov. 20 as well.
TmoNews notes that the leak—which comes from an anonymous source—is still unconfirmed and doesn’t reveal how much T-Mobile will charge for the Nexus 5. A number of carriers and retailers have already been caught selling the Nexus 5 at a huge markup, though there’s always hope the company will work its Un-Carrier magic on the new smartphone — at least with some sort of low up-front cost.
