Does Nokia have another tablet up its sleeve? According to @evleaks, the Finnish company is planning to launch an 8-inch Windows RT tablet called the Nokia Illusionist. In an earlier tweet, the mobile leaker claimed the device may feature “stylus support” as well.
Nokia Illusionist is going to be their second RT tablet, but in the eight-inch class.

We haven’t seen any photos of the Illusionist—which is likely a codename and not the final product name—though we imagine the Windows RT slate will likely be a scaled down version of the Lumia 2520, a 10.1-inch tablet that packs a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.
Microsoft is set to take over Nokia’s mobile devices business later this year, and we don’t know if the company will shut down Nokia’s competing line of tablets once that deal is finalized. With that in mind, it’s surprising to hear that Nokia is preparing a new tablet, though for the time being Microsoft still doesn’t offer an 8-inch or 7-inch device. So maybe the Illusionist is actually Microsoft’s first Nokia-designed Surface?
