The Moto G first leaked earlier this week on Motorola’s own website, and it wasn’t long afterwards @evleaks chimed in with a photo of the device and a handful of mid-range specs. Now GSMArena has published a Moto G promo card leaked to the site by an anonymous tipster on its way to a Phones 4u store in the U.K., essentially confirming what we already knew: the Moto G is Motorola’s long-rumored budget followup to the Moto X.
According to the latest leak, the Moto G will come equipped with a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720p display a t 329 ppi, 8GB of internal storage, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core processor, water repellent coating, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. According to GSMArena’s source the device will cost just £134.95 (about $215) off-contract in the U.K.
There’s still no word on when the Moto G will launch, but based on the Christmas-themed promo card we can definitely expect its release to arrive in time the holiday season.
