Boost Mobile announced Friday morning that it will begin to sell the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c starting on Nov. 8. The phones won’t be cheap, however. Boost Mobile is a contract-free carrier, so you’ll need to pony up the full price of either phone to get started.
Boost Mobile will carry the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models of the iPhone 5s for $549.99, $649.99 and $749.99, respectively. Meanwhile, the 16GB and 32GB iPhone 5c devices will cost $449.99 and $549.99, respectively. Boost will also sell the iPhone 4s for $299.99 without a contract. As you may already know, Boost runs on Sprint’s 4G LTE network, so you’ll want to make sure you live in a coverage area before dropping that kind of money.
If you want to save some dough, but pick up a still-powerful smartphone off contract, you may want to consider the Nexus 5, which starts at $349.99 unlocked. It will run on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
Update: Boost Mobile incorrectly stated the price of the 32GB iPhone 5c as $649. This article has been updated to reflect the actual $549.99 price tag for that model.
