Moto G Leaks, Reportedly Sports S4 Pro and 8MP Camera

Moto G, the rumored low-cost follow-up to the Motorola Moto X, has leaked out with some supposed specs in tow. Prolific mobile leaker @evleaks revealed today that the Moto G will ship with a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 4.7-inch display with a 720p resolution, 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1,950mAh battery.

The Moto X is already available for $99 from some carriers, so what’s the Moto G going to cost? Apparently it will be available for free with a new contract. We don’t yet know the carriers, though all four of the big U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint carry the Moto X, so it’s possible we’ll see the Moto G land there too.

No word yet on release date, but it appears that things are coming together.
