Google Fiber , Google’s high-speed Internet and TV service, is slowly spreading its wings around the country, and Google recently announced a some status updates on its Google Fiber app. First, the application is now available not only for Android but for the iPhone and iPod touch through the iTunes App Store.

Google also added a new option that lets you manage the stored media on your DVR. It says you can now organize your recorded TV shows and movies, or mass-delete your media in one fell swoop. You can also set new recordings directly from your mobile device, or search for content manually or with your voice.

Additionally, Google added a new shortcut for viewing your channel history. Simply tap the icon on the top left of the application to access the navigation menu, and you’ll then be able to see what channels you watched most recently. The download is free and available now.
