We’re big fans of CyanogenMod around here, and it offers a great user experience if you’re not afraid of a few Android tweaks now and again. As of Tuesday, there are now CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly builds available for the Moto X and the Xperia Z Ultra, according to Phandroid.
There’s one catch, however, because the builds are only available for unlocked iterations of the Moto X right now, and not specifically for units purchased through a carrier. As you may already know, a nightly build means you’ll have a new and improved version just about every day, but it’s not the final and fully stable version, which means you may run into bugs and errors. For Android tweakers, that’s part of the fun.
The usual caveats apply here, folks. Be sure to back up your phone and follow instructions closely. You’re operating at your own risk, but with CyanogenMod, those risks come with nice rewards.
