Quite a few Samsung Android users on AT&T may be receiving an early holiday gift as it appears that Android 4.3 is on its way to their handsets.
While Android 4.4 KitKat may be what a lot of people are anxious for at the moment, there are still many phones out there awaiting the arrival of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. A recently leaked Best Buy document gave some insight into when 4.3 updates would be rolling out to some AT&T handsets, and now DesignGears, a well-known Android developer, has also gone on record saying the there are multiple builds floating around for the updates.
It appears that over the next few months you can expect to see updates for the following Samsung devices on AT&T:
- Galaxy S4 – Last week of Oct.
- Galaxy SIII – Nov.
- Galaxy Note II – Nov.
- Galaxy S4 Active – Dec.
There are currently builds floating around in the various forums, but they are early builds and are sure to have bugs and some stability issues.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was a very welcome upgrade for the operating system, and one users should definitely be excited about receiving.
