HTC One users in North America have been upgraded to Android 4.3 over the past few weeks, but now European users are receiving the update as well, along with the company’s own Sense 5.5 UI. Android Central confirmed today that the update is available in the northern Scandinavian region, while HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR claims it’s also available in Russia and Eastern Europe.
The news comes just a few days after the official HTC UK Twitter account revealed it wasn’t expecting the Android 4.3 update for three to five weeks, leading many to believe it would be as long as a month before any Europeans recevied the software upgrade. However, today’s news suggests HTC will roll out the new update on a region-by-region basis in Europe.

Android 4.3 is the last iteration of the Jelly Bean OS Google will release before moving on to Android 4.4 KitKat. The updated software adds support for restricted profiles, brings improved graphics, improved DRM management and more. HTC’s Sense 5.5 is a feature-rich update that brings improvements to BlinkFeed (including the option to turn it off entirely), and improvements to the camera and gallery software.
