Nokia has officially revealed its first tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520, “a natural extension of the Lumia family.” Nokia wants to use this new model to make the tablet a truly mobile device.
Nokia claims that the tablet features the brightest screen of any tablet on the market and can even be viewed in direct sunlight. It fits withing the holder’s outstretched fingers, and it solidifies its mobile function with an LTE connectivity. The tablet runs Windows RT 8.1 and features all of Microsoft’s office functions.
As for photos, it sports a 6.7-megapixel rear-camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, and it features both Nokia Camera and Nokia Storyteller.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 will retail for $499 in the US, UK, and Finland, and it will be available in black, white, cyan, and red. An official Nokia Power Keyboard will also cost $149.
