Nokia was particularly active on Twitter today, which makes sense considering the company just announced an army of new phones, phablets and its first Windows tablet, but the Finnish phone-maker also took the opportunity to attack Samsung in one post, suggesting that the South Korean company had missed out on what it called “Announce a Tablet Day.” Samsung is known for selling tablets in nearly every size imaginable, so Nokia was probably taking a jab at how often the South Korea tech company reveals them.

We’re not sure what to think of Nokia’s bizarre attack tweet. It’s true that Apple and Nokia both announced new tablets today, though we have to assume this was a coincidence and not a coordinated effort. The two companies announced a number of new products at separate events on opposite sides of the world while Samsung kept quiet. There’s nothing weird about that.
The South Korean company announced a redesigned Galaxy Note 10.1 just last month, and at a glance the Android device still stacks up nicely against the Lumia 2520 and iPad Air. Nokia’s image shows three adjacent parking spots for the three companies, with only Samsung’s left unoccupied, but maybe that’s because the Galaxy-maker is over a month ahead of its rivals’ product cycles and already speeding off towards its next release.
