HTC One owners on T-Mobile don’t have the new Android 4.3 update because of an “unexpected” delay. According to HTC America President Jason Mackenzie, the update is being pushed until Monday, which, hey, is only a few days away—you can endure the extra wait, right?
T-Mobile CEO John Legere also chimed in the on the delay, noting the update would be here soon, which is a little more vague than Mackenzie’s comments. Of course, if we want to read more deeply into what Mackenzie Tweeted—he said HTC is “pushing” for a Monday release—he in no way guarantees Monday is when it’ll hit.
Barring no additional setbacks, however, hopefully it’ll be out early next week. When it does begin rolling out, we’ll be sure to let you know. As a side note, this is likely no fault of HTC’s, but rather just a bump in the typical carrier software approval process, which can often take weeks of testing.
