Verizon HTC One Max Launching This Holiday Season

HTC recently confirmed that Verizon will offer its new One Max phablet, but now the carrier officially confirmed that the device will arrive this holiday season. The news was revealed via the company’s official Twitter account, though we still don’t have word on how much the phone will cost with a new two-year contract. Sprint will also carry the phone in the coming weeks.

We recently brought you our first impressions of the international HTC One Max. The device is compelling enough for phablet fans, especially if you want one of the biggest screens available in the United States. Though, despite its stellar 5.9-inch 1080p screen, the One Max falls short of competitors such as the Galaxy Note 3. It offers a Snapdragon 600 processor instead of a Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM instead of 3GB of RAM, and a bulkier form factor. That said, it also offers amazing BoomSound speakers, a still-solid Ultrapixel camera, though it lacks optical image stabilization, and Sense 5.5 with Android 4.3.

Stay tuned for our full review of the international HTC One Max, which we hope to bring you shortly.
