LG G2 Sprint Pre-Orders Open Up, Devices Ship in Early November

Sprint has finally started taking pre-orders for the LG G2 today. The South Korean company’s flagship handset starts at $99 with a two-year contract, and ships early next month. The third-place carrier was definitely slow to act with this device, only offering it after AT&T and Verizon both launched the smartphone. However, Sprint may be able to make things right with its subscribers by selling the G2 for $100 off its retail price.

The LG G2 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920-pixel LCD display at 424ppi, a non-removable 3000mAh battery, a quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage with no microSD card slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing lens. The G2 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with LG’s own UI on top, and comes in either black or white.

We’re big fans of the G2. LG’s latest flagship smartphone may be its best ever, but that doesn’t mean it can compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung’s latest offerings. Then again, for $99 down it won’t be easy to find a better handset at that price tier.
