Ship times for Apple’s new iPhone 5s has been updated to 2-3 weeks on the company’s own site. First noticed by 9to5Mac, the company’s new Touch ID-equipped flagship smartphone, which was been a runaway success since launching late last month, could be showing up on doorsteps sooner than analyst reports suggest. Yes, even the allusive gold model, which has been particularly difficult to come by.

Some orders can ship as early as beginning of November, and are consistent across the three colors, sizes and all carriers. Apple has already managed to sell over 9 million new iPhone since opening weekend, and that figure has likely ballooned over the last few weeks. If you don’t mind waiting a few weeks to get your hands on Apple’s new smartphone hero, ordering through the company’s own online store might not be such a bad idea.
