After some major issues getting Grand Theft Auto Online up and running, Rockstar seems to have the game playable. Throughout the trouble, Rockstar’s been impressively transparent, letting players know what is wrong and how long it thinks the updates will take to roll out.
Now, Rockstar is making it rain; Every player who has logged into GTA Online in October-and updated to version 1.04, expected next week-will receive $500,000 in GTA Online‘s currency. The gift, worth about $10 USD if purchased through the game’s micro-transaction option, will be doled out in 2 installments, over the next few weeks, of $250,000 to help maintain the game’s economic balance.
In addition to further fixing the game’s online issues, Rockstar says the update should fix the issues offline players are experiencing with their purchased cars disappearing.
