Capcom 30th Anniversary Sale on Steam this Weekend

Capcom is turning 30 this year, and it wants to celebrate by throwing a Steam Sale Birthday Party. Every game from its catalog has been knocked down from 50-75 percent, with daily deals occurring over the next four days with even more specials on specific games lowering the prices even further.

The games form a wide array of what Capcom has to offer, dating from as recently as Lost Planet 3 all the way back to Onimusha 3 and Devil May Cry 3. Be wary though because while the classic PlayStation 2 games might be the best available, Capcom wasn’t exactly well known for porting games to the PC in those days. They run shoddily at best, even on modern day PCs.

Check out the list of available games below.

  • Bionic Commando Rearmed – $2.49
  • Bionic Commando – $2.49
  • Onimusha 3 – $4.99
  • Resident Evil 5 – $4.99
  • Lost Planet Colonies – $4.99
  • Lost Planet 2 – $4.99
  • Devil May Cry 4 – $4.99
  • Devil May Cry 3 SE – $4.99
  • Resident Evil 6 – $19.99
  • Street Fighter X Tekken – $19.99
  • Remember Me – $24.99
  • DmC Devil May Cry – $24.99
  • Resident Evil: Revelations – $24.99

Many of the games come bundled together, meaning they can be even cheap if bought in bulk.

Anything tweak your interest here? I’ve been meaning to give Devil May Cry 4 another shot, and fan reaction seems to say that the PC version is an amazing port. Maybe I’ll also cough up some money on DmC if it falls in price far enough.

And of course, I won’t end this post without recommending Bionic Commando ReArmed, one of the best games from this past generation. Don’t pass up this chance to get it cheap.
