Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 has landed on Amazon, though for now the budget-friendly online retailer is offering the new tablet for just 99 cents off its retail price along with free shipping and a free $50 gift card while supplies last. You can order the 16GB white version of the Android slate today for $549, the 32Gb model in white for $599, or 32GB in black for $599.99.
Samsung’s refreshed full-sized tablet comes running Android 4.3 with the latest version of the company’s TouchWiz UI out of the box, and is one of two devices that currently work with the Galaxy Gear. It’s equipped with a 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600-pixel display at 299 ppi, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, an 8220mAh battery, a redesigned S Pen, an 8-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens.
In our review of the Galaxy Note 10.1, we gave Samsung’s refreshed tablet a solid 7 out of 10. It’s not the best Android slate we’ve ever seen, and if all you’re looking for is a device to consume content with and maybe shoot off the occasional email, this isn’t the right choice for you. But if you’re looking for a tablet designed to let you create, you’ll love drawing and sketching on its beautiful Wacom display with the newly improved S Pen.
