The Nexus 5 has once again broken cover, this time in a 281 page service manual that details every possible spec that you can think of.

The folks over at AndroidPolice have gotten ahold of a service manual for the Nexus 5 that has pretty much removed any mystery that may have still surrounded the upcoming device. The manual in question was provided by an anonymous source and is specific to the European version of the handset based on the LTE bands.

This is not the booklet you would find included with the device when you purchase it, but instead is the one that would go out to service centers hence why it is far more detailed than normal. It still provides us with some very pertinent specs, however. We now know the following about the Nexus 5:

  • 4.95-inch IPS TFT 1080p display
  • 32GB internal storage
  • 2GB RAM
  • 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 1.3MP front camera
  • 2300mAh battery
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Proximity/Ambient Light, Pressure
  • Slimport compatibility
  • Micro SIM slot
  • Notification light
  • Wireless charging
  • NFC
  • Bluetooth 3.0 or 4.0 (both are mentioned in the document which is still labeled as being a draft)
  • UMTS/GSM/CDMA/LTE compatibility

Overall it looks like an impressive handset and it should launch with Android 4.4 KitKat. When exactly that is happening is still up in the air, but some rumors are pointing to as soon as Oct. 14.
