Nokia is very clearly working on one of the first Windows Phone phablets with a full HD display, and thanks to several leaks we’re largely expecting that device to be the Lumia 1520. We’ve already seen it spilled a few times, though this morning @evleaks posted the most recent image of the device in red.
We can see that, thanks to the increased resolution, there’s now enough room to fit three large shortcuts side-by-side on the homescreen, or six smaller ones. The added real estate definitely adds to the appeal of Windows Phone, you can see a ton of what Windows Phone has to offer in one quick look at the screen.

We expect the Lumia 1520 to launch on AT&T, the carrier that has offered several other Lumia flagship devices, and to run the latest GDR3 version of Windows Phone 8. Other rumored specs include a quad-core Snapdragon processor, a 6-inch screen, 2GB of RAM and more. Nokia is holding a press event in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22 where we think the phone might make an appearance, though Nokia might also make a bigger announcement in the U.S. at a later date.
