Insomniac Games is taking another crack at the currently slumping Ratchet & Clank franchise this holiday. After a long string of solid efforts, the studio put out an odd cooperative adventure and strange competitive title that were both met with mixed to poor receptions.
Now we’re staring down the barrel of a possible reinvigoration. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is bound for the PlayStation 3, and supposedly it’s a return to form for this much beloved series.
A few bits of news and media have come to light today. First off, Into the Nexus has a launch date and a price point. The game will be available starting Nov. 12, and it will only cost interested gamers $29.99 on release. That budget price is oh-so-nice, especially given that some will be hesitant to buy a full price title right next to the launch of new consoles.
Additionally, Insomniac and Sony put together a super cheesey video clip. Enjoy it at your own risk below.
