Hulu Plus Chromecast

Google announced on Wednesday that Hulu Plus now officially works with the Chromecast. All you’ll need to do is launch the most recent Hulu Plus application on your iPad or Android device and simply tap the “cast” button at the top of the screen, and your content will begin playing back on your Chromecast-equipped TV.

Google noted that Hulu hasn’t yet added the support to its iPhone application, so you’ll need to stick with iPads for now, though added that the support should be coming really soon. Hulu Plus streams from both Android tablets and smartphones, however.

We can’t wait to see what other media partners begin implementing Chromecast support. The service launched with Netflix, Google Play and YouTube support, though as more app developers start taking advantage of the tools we should see the capabilities expanded drastically. Pretty amazing for a $35 gadget.
