Sprint One Up Details

Following up on a leak from last week, Sprint has officially launched its One Up plan that will allow customers to upgrade their phones every 12 months.

The One Up plan from Sprint will allow you to pick up a new phone for no money down, and then you can pay for it as an addition to your bill for 24 months. At the end of 12 months, however, you can trade in your current phone and pick up a newer handset if you agree to another 24 month contract.

To offset some of this additional payment of the phone over the contract period, Sprint is offering a $15 discount on its unlimited talk, text and data plan, bringing it down to $65 a month for customers on the One Up plan.

Sprint’s plan is currently available only in its retail stores but will eventually roll out to its online site and other channels.
