The HTC One Max leaked again today, this time in a photo comparing the Taiwanese company’s phablet to the Galaxy Note 3, as well as the Note II for good measure. The latest picture emphasizes just how massive the 5.9-inch handset will be, while a second photo shows the exposed back of the device, including the camera, SIM card slot, battery, and the rumored fingerprint scanner. Both photos come from Chinese social media site Sina Weibo.

The rumored phablet is expected to come equipped with a 1080p display, a 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 3300mAh battery, a 4-UltraPixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter. The HTC One Max will likely run Android 4.3 with the company’s own Sense 5 UI on top. The HTC One mac is rumored to launch some time next month for $800 off-contract.

The phablet market is really heating up this year, with entries from LG, BlackBerry, Sony and HTC set to compete with Samsung in the over-5-inches smartphone arena. With the Galaxy Note 3, LG G2 and BlackBerry Z30 already announced, HTC’s upcoming device will be one of the newest phablets around.
