The Evil Within gets Terrifying Tokyo Game Show Trailer

Shinji Mikami showed his prowess with survival horror when he created the original Resident Evil. He worked on that franchise until Resident Evil 4, the game that many earmark as the best the entire series had to offer.

Now he’s set his sights on a brand new horror IP. The Evil Within is being developed by Mikami and Tango Softworks. The title is being published by Bethesda.

Today, Bethesda dropped a brand new trailer for The Evil Within. They’ve tied it to the Tokyo Game Show, the annual gaming convention that goes down this week in Japan. Our own Ron Duwell will be on the show floor, so hopefully he’ll be able to snag some time with this one.

The Evil Within is known as Psychobreak in Japan. So, here’s your early heads up if you see the names cross between now and this title’s release.

The Evil Within is set to drop and scare the ever loving crap out of everyone in 2014 on the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While you wait, flip through a small gallery below. That should shave off a few seconds, right? Good.
