Verizon’s DROID DNA came out before the HTC One, which hit the market with a ton of new features including Sense 5, HTC’s software stack that sits on top of Android Jelly Bean. We have some good news if you were feeling left out of those features, though: Verizon has updated its support page detailing a new Android 4.2 update hitting the DROID DNA with Sense 5.

It includes the BlinkFeed news feed on the home screen, video Highlights — though without the Zoe’s that can be captured on an HTC One — updates to the People application, a new gallery landing page, calendar enhancements and more. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this release includes the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update also.

We love that HTC is breathing fresh life into its older phones through software updates that add really compelling features. Hopefully this continues moving forward, as we begin to advance past the HTC One and see what else HTC has up its sleeves.
