U.K. carrier Three has announced plans to roll out its LTE network to 42 more cities through out 2014.
By the end of this year Three plans to flip the switch on its fledgling LTE network in four metropolitan areas – Birmingham, London, Manchester and Reading – but that is nothing compared to the carrier’s plans for 2014. Three has announced a total of 42 additional areas for 2014, and by the end of 2015 to have covered 98 percent of the country.
The intriguing aspect is that Three is saying that there be no additional charges for LTE data compared to 3G.
You can check out the 2014 planned areas below, and feel pretty safe in assuming if you don’t see your area on that list that you will be receiving it in 2015.
