Apple - Mountain Lion 011

Apple recently pushed out the latest update to OS X Mountain Lion, version 10.8.5, which includes several new fixes.

According to the changelog obtained by 9to5Mac, improvements include an update to Mail that fixes how messages are displayed, file transfer improvements over 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks, a screen saver fix, improvements to transferring large files over an Ethernet connection and more. As always, we suggest keeping your operating system updated to the most recent version so that you have all of the bug fixes, security fixes and improvements that you can get.

Apple didn’t talk about OS X Mavericks at all during its recent introduction of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, but we expect that will be a topic of conversation during an event in the next month or so. We’ll likely hear details on a public release — for now, it’s still moving its way through beta releases.
