If the iPhone 5c wasn’t as budget-friendly as you were hoping, Virgin Mobile has a new smartphone that offers a high-quality Android experience for just $299 off-contract. The Supreme, from Chinese manufacturer ZTE, was announced today and is already available for sale with Virgin Mobile Beyond Talk plan, which offers unlimited text and data for $35 a month.

The Virgin Mobile Supreme comes equipped with a 5-inch 720p HD display, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 1-megapixel front-facing shooter, a 2,500mAh battery that promises 15 hours of talk time, 4G LTE connectivity, a microSD card slot, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The Supreme is also meant to appeal directly to mobile gamers, and comes with EA’s Real Racing 3 pre-loaded, though considering the game is available for free that’s not much of a perk. Overall, Virgin Mobile’s new offering is decidedly mid-range, but at that price point it’s still a great deal.
