Just in time for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C launch, AppleCare+ is now available in the United Kingdom, France, and Italy, following a rumor suggesting the launch was imminent.
The service, first spotted by 9to5Mac, is quite simple and extends your 90 day warranty to a full two years of coverage for each iPhone. Should you ruin your device through some accident, you’ll need to pay a service fee of £55 each time you need a replacement device. You can take advantage of a replacement twice during your two years of coverage, according to the terms of AppleCare+.
The same service has been available for a long time in the United States and costs $79 for each service required to your iPhone. Users need to purchase AppleCare+ within 30 days of buying a new iPhone from Apple, and it can be purchased in stores or over the phone.
