Sprint will begin to accept pre-orders for LG’s latest flagship smartphone, the G2, starting on October 11. Anyone who pre-orders the device will also be treated to an LG G2 Quick Window case, which is similar to Samsung’s S-View Flip Cover case for the Galaxy S4, worth about $50.
The G2 is one of the first smartphones to hit the market with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor and is basically LG’s answer to the Galaxy S4 (and possibly even the Note 3) — it offers a large 5.2-inch display with a 1080p screen, Android Jelly Bean, a 13-megapixel camera, software features that allow you to run multiple applications on the home screen at the same time and more.
AT&T’s G2, meanwhile, hit the market just a few days ago. The Galaxy Note 3 is also expected to make its debut in Oct., so LG is going to definitely have some competition against Samsung’s devices.
