ASUS announced two new affordable additions to its MeMO Pad line today at IFA, the MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10.
The MeMO Pad 8, pictured above, will feature a resolution of 1280 x 800, microSD storage, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2, a 5MP rear camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard stoage. All of this will be powered by a 3950 mAh battery with up to nine hours of battery life.
The MeMO Pad 10 will feature the same 1280 x 800 resolution as the MeMO Pad 8, as well as the same 1.6GHz quad-core processor. What is slightly odd is the rear camera will actually be less powerful on the 10-inch tablet clocking in at only 2MP. The larger tablet will also add A-GPS and GLONASS support and a 5070 mAh hour batter for 9.5 hours of battery life. The remainder of the specs remain consistent between the MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10.
No word as of yet on the release dates and prices for the two MeMO Pads.
