Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Coming to Steam in November

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut was one of the 100 games to make the cut on Steam Greenlight last week, and publisher Rising Star Games wasted no time in announcing a Nov. 1 release date for its popular cult hit.

The original version of Deadly Premonition, released exclusively on the Xbox 360, was a very polarizing video game with scores ranging from perfect 10’s all the way down to 3’s from major reviewers. The Guinness Book Of World Records even recognizes it as the most polarizing survival-horror game ever created.

A PlayStation 3 re-release last year saw The Director’s Cut hit the market and give the game a second chance. The gap in appreciation closed slightly with new fans climbing aboard with its reappraisal.

Now PC gamers can get in on the fun and see for themselves where they fall in Deadly Premonition‘s ever evolving reputation. Mark Nov. 1 as a day to remember, because you will never get the demented town of Greenvale out of your head once you dive into its darkest corners.

Check out Steam for more updates in the meantime.
