Apple officially sent out press invites for an event on September 10, where we largely expect the company to announce the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C, fresh details on iOS 7 and more. It’s probable that Apple will hold a separate iPad event at a later date. The iPhone event kicks off at 10 A.M. Pacific.

So what can we expect? We’ve already covered a lot of what we think will be discussed in an editorial, though Apple has been known to toss in a few surprises.

Right now we think the iPhone 5S will launch in several color options, including graphite, black, white and champagne. It also may pack a fingerprint reader, a beefier processor and a better camera. Here’s a huge gallery of iPhone 5S leaks:

The iPhone 5C is expected to hit in blue, green, red, yellow and possibly black and white color options, and will feature a plastic body and a lower price point. Here’s a huge gallery of iPhone 5C leaks:

The festivities kick off in Cupertino and we’ll be bringing you all of the news as it hits.
