In addition to the Honeycomb, Gingerbread man, Eclair, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean statues at Google’s headquarters, the company has now erected a statue of a large Android figure made out of KitKats. An image of the statue was posted by Google’s head of Android, Sundar Pichai, on his Google. Looks like Keylime Pie is out of the question now.

“On my return from Asia, I was also thrilled to find this guy waiting to greet me on the front lawn — love the new #AndroidKitKat statue and can’t wait to release the next version of the platform that is as sweet as the candy bar that’s one of our team’s favorites:)” Pichai said.

Will it be Android 4.4 Kit Kat? Yep! It looks like there’s a sponsorship with KitKat for the opportunity, and Google posted a quick infographic stating that it hopes KitKat will “make an amazing Android experience available for everybody.” Does that mean the end of fragmentation? We’ll see!
