Sony has been teasing its rumored Xperia Z1 smartphone, also known as the Honami, pretty frequently on Twitter. Just last week, the company posted a picture of the phone’s power button, and then another image of the device being dunked in water. Both revealed that the device will have similar design elements of the Xperia Z, such as water resistance, a large power button and sharp, angular edges.
Now Sony is teasing the handset again: this time it published an image of the camera sensor with the caption: “Have we captured your attention yet?” Indeed you have, Sony. Most rumors suggest the Xperia Z1 will come with a 20-megapixel camera, so it makes sense for Sony to tease this part. We can also see a single LED flash.
Sony is holding a press event at the IFA trade show on Sept. 4, where we expect the Xperia Z1 to be a topic of conversation. TechnoBuffalo will be reporting live from Berlin for the press conference, so stay tuned for more.
