Want to develop apps for Samsung Smart TVs? What about special applications for its smartphones, or other mobile screens? Perfect. Samsung just opened up registration (after a slight delay) for its official developer conference. The event kicks off on Oct. 27 in San Francisco and wraps up on Oct. 29.
Samsung said it will announce new software development kits at the conference, and then teach all developers how to use them. Specific topics will include developing for Samsung’s S Pen, working with services such as AdHub, Context Aware, ChatOn, Group Play and more. Classes will also be held to discuss best practices for creating apps for Smart TVs and multi-screen environments, and building cross-platform services for Android, HTML5 and the Web.
Tickets to the conference cost $299, and we recommend you sign up ASAP considering how quickly Apple’s WWDC and Google I/O sold out this year.
