More iPhone 5C images have been conjured up out of Apple’s wide open manufacturing vault, this time showing off the device in red. And it looks exactly like the countless other leaks we’ve seen, though this one is a little more complete—we can see the SIM tray, volume rocker and power button holes have been cut out. This marks the umpteenth time the device has leaked out during production; we’ve already seen what it’ll look like in an array of different color options.
Provided by Sonny Dickson, the photos essentially show off what the device will look like in complete form. It looks like an iPhone 5! But colorful. The device is expected to be announced alongside Apple’s more high-end iPhone 5S this Sept., and cater to the low- to mid-range crowd. We’ve seen a lot of what the device looks like, but it’s still unclear what specs the iPhone 5C will sport; reports claim it’ll be a more watered down iPhone 5.
Apple’s iPhone 5C isn’t even out and it feels like the device has somewhat overstayed its welcome. Once the Cupertino company takes the stage next month, it’ll come as little surprise when Apple’s cheaper smartphone makes an appearance. Until then, feast your eyes on the red model in all its glory.
