Bungie has released a fresh pile of screenshots for its upcoming open world shooter, Destiny. This multiplayer focused romp is the first IP the studio is cracking at since their lengthy stint with the much loved Halo franchise.
The screenshots show off landscapes, character models, lighting and even some sort of aircraft. The game looks fantastic so far, and we can’t wait to see it in motion once again.
Destiny‘s lengthy E3 presentation won a lot of hearts and minds over during the Sony press conference this past June. You can re-watch (or watch for the first time, if you missed it) that presentation with extra developer commentary right here.
Destiny is on track for a 2014 release. Bungie and Activision have announced the title for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. No word has come yet on a highly coveted PC version, though folks at Bungie are supposedly considering it.
