Titanfall Multiplayer Trailer Looks More Like Single Player

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall has been causing a lot of buzz since its announcement thanks large in part to the involvement of Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella. Names behind Call of Duty‘s vastly popular multiplayer mode is guaranteed to turn a few heads. Giant robots never hurt the case for a first-person shooter, either.

The latest trailer from Gamescom shows off the mutliplayer you might expect from this title. Watch as teammates take to the huge map to work together in taking down massive robots and tear them to shreds.

Never before has a multiplayer mode looked so good. It seems more like a perfectly scripted single player mission than the dull graphics found in most multiplayer these days. Between this and Frosbite 3, I predict a marvelous push forward in the graphics quality that can be used in these shooters.

Titanfall is just around the corner with a Q1 release in 2014. It is currently aimed at PCs, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 with PlayStation fans not getting to join in on the fun on this one.
