Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 will launch on Nov. 15 in the U.S., and on Nov. 29 in the U.K.
Speaking during Sony’s Gamescom 2013 news conference, Andrew House, Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI), announced the long awaited release date for the PlayStation 4. Microsoft opted to not announce a release date this morning during its press conference for the Xbox One, leading many to suspect that it was waiting for Sony to announce its date first. With the proverbial cat now out of the bag we should probably to hear from Microsoft at any moment.
Suspicions are running strong that the Xbox One will launch the following week based on the announcement today for the launch title Need for Speed Rivals, but either way you look at it, it’s going to be a busy month in Nov. for gamers.
