A new photo of the HTC One Max, codenamed the T6, has leaked online, comparing the massive handset to the flagship HTC One and the 4.3-inch Mini. The new picture also reveals a black square on the back of the device below the camera that may add some new functionality to the Max.
The latest HTC Max leak comes to us from ePrice, which published the photos after receiving them from an anonymous photographer who also revealed some alleged specs for the upcoming smartphone. The Max allegedly comes equipped with a 5.9-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, and a fingerprint scanner. Remember that black square on the back of the phone? Some people are saying it may be hiding new fingerprint recognition technology, though it’s possible it could just be an additional button or even an optical touchpad.
HTC has yet to announce the phablet-sized One Max, though at this point the device is all but confirmed thanks to a steady stream of leaked photos and renderings. We’re hoping to see the device officially announced next month at IFA in Berlin, so stay tuned for updates.
