It won’t be long until Samsung’s enormous Galaxy Mega 6.3 is offered through AT&T—at least according to a freshly leaked press image. Thanks to the ever reliable @evleaks Twitter account, an photo of the Korean company’s enormous phablet clearly shows an AT&T logo on the device’s rear, while the front of the handset reveals an Aug. 23 date, presumably referring to its imminent launch.
The device thus far has been widely available across Europe and Asia, but not yet here in the U.S. But that could change by next Friday if this image is to be believed, and we have no reason to suspect it isn’t authentic. We got our hands on the Mega not too long ago and enjoyed it for what it is: a behemoth, titanic phone clearly meant for those in love with the phablet form factor. Though—much to the dismay of Samsung, we assume—it’s not the biggest device around.
Until an official AT&T announcement, you can catch up on our coverage of the device in the video below. It’ll be nice to see the Mega land here stateside, though it won’t be long until we catch wind of Samsung’s much more coveted phablet line. With that said, I’m not so sure Samsung fans will be lining up once the Mega launches.
