Nokia’s Pro Camera app is now available for the Lumia 925, 920 and 928 through the Amber update that the company is also pushing out today. The camera UI was introduced with the Lumia 1020 last month to popular reviews and is now available for Windows Phone 8 users who don’t feel like shelling out $300 for the latest flagship device.
Pro Camera brings a UI built around digital sliders that let the user easily edit each photo as they take it, letting you control shutter speed, exposure, white balance, focus and more. You’ll also get single finger zoom control, blurring effects and two-finger re-framing.
Of course, the older Lumia phones won’t have all the features that Nokia’s 41-megapixel handset offers. You won’t get dual access, a feature that makes two copies of each photos, creating a lower resolution image for instant sharing online as well as a high quality picture for later use and large-scale printing. You’ll also miss out on the un-zoom feature, which lets users zoom out on a full-sized photo by taking a wider shot even after you’ve zoomed in.
