A leaked distribution sheet for the Galaxy Note III published by SamMobile appears to confirm rumors that the upcoming phablet will come in multiple variations. However, the only difference between the two listed models is the processor, with some countries getting the Exynos 5420, while most will get a LTE-enabled Snapdragon 800. Some regions will have access to both models.
The news lines up with our expectations, but it’s still an interesting look at the wide availability of 4G LTE around the world. Aside from this slight difference, we expect both versions of the Galaxy Note III to offer the same experience, including a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, Android 4.3 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top, and an S Pen stylus, based on the latest reports.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note III at a media event in Berlin on Sept. 4, just a few days before the annual IFA expo kicks off in the German capital. The South Korean company already sent out an invitation, hinting that the new phablet would be the star of the show, but according to new reports the rumored Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also make an appearance.
